Woman Discovers That Her Husband is Actually Her Brother

Adriana and Leandro, a Brazilian couple, both abandoned by their mothers in childhood, spent their lives anxiously searching for their mothers. They couldn't have imagined in their wildest dreams what their search would lead to.

The couple knew that their mothers shared the same name, Maria, but thought it was just a coincidence.

When Adriana decided to step up her search, she joined the 'Angel of Meetings', a daily broadcast on Brazilian radio station Radio Globo promoting the reunion of people with relatives and friends who are no longer in contact. Little did she know what was in store for her family.

She called up the radio station and found her mother. Unluckily, their sweet reunion turned sour when she found out that her mother is also the mother of her husband. A startled Adriana, started crying, reports Radio Globo.

The couple has been together for seven years and also, has a six-year-old daughter. However, this emotional tsunami they say, has not affected their marriage, and they are determined to keep it alive.

Commuters Lift Train to Free Man Whose Leg Was Trapped

Perth:  Dozens of Australians tilted a train Wednesday to free a commuter whose leg was trapped between a carriage and a platform, with authorities praising their efforts as an example of "people power".

The man was boarding in the Western Australia city of Perth when he slipped and became jammed in the five-centimetre (0.4-inch) gap between the carriage and the station, operator Transperth said in a statement.

Passengers were initially told to move to the opposite side of the train in the hope their weight would shift it away from his leg, a passenger who gave his name as Nic told The West Australian newspaper.

But when that failed, staff told commuters to get off the train and about 50 of them lined up in a row along the platform to tilt the carriage away from the man so he could be lifted out.

"It is the first time we've seen something like this happen," Transperth spokeswoman Claire Krol told AFP.

"We were really fortunate that the staff were there straight away... and all of the passengers not only listened to the instructions from staff, but pitched in and helped.

"This is a real case of passengers of working together... and people power are the perfect words to describe it."

Transperth said the man was treated by paramedics but was able to catch a later train.

"The end result here is: really lucky for the man involved, but really nice as well to see that everyone came together as a community," Krol added

Sanju Samson, Karn Sharma get India ODI call up for England series, Yuvraj snubbed

Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson and Railways' allrounder Karn Sharma have been named in India's 17-man squad for the five ODIs and one-off Twenty20 against England. Samson has long been touted as one of India's most impressive young batsmen and star for the future. Mumbai seamer Dhawal Kulkarni, who was picked in the ODI squad for the home series against West Indies last year but was then ruled out with injury, has been included once again.
Skipper MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma among others make a return after they were rested for the three-match ODI series in Bangladesh. Robin Uthappa, who had a decent outing in Bangladesh, but struggled to make a mark in the tri-series Down Under, where India A won has also bee overlooked by the selectors along with Cheteshwar Pujara.
On the other hand, Stuart Binny managed to hold on to his place in the side but the star batsman Yuvraj Singh was ignored by the selectors. Ajinkya Rahane also remains in the side following his encouraging performances in the ongoing Test series. Suresh Raina, who was dropped from the ODI squad for the Asia Cup but led Team India to Bangladesh in June, also makes the cut.
India will play five ODIs and one T20 International against England, from 25 August 2014 to 7 September 2014.
India squad for five ODIs and one T20I:
MS Dhoni (c&wk), Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Stuart Binny, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Umesh Yadav, Dhawal Kulkarni, Sanju Samson, Karn Sharma.
